Robert J. Banks, DMD
Dr. Robert J. Banks received his undergraduate degree from the University of
Louisville. After working in both the pub lic and private sector, and receiving
his Masters
in Public Affairs from Kentucky State University, he attended the University of
Louisville School Of Dentistry. Dr. Banks was selected into the membership of
numerous academic honor societies while at the University of Louisville School
of
Dentistry. He was also awarded the Hinman Scholar Award. Dr Banks received his
Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1993.
In addition to completing numerous advanced courses in Implant, Cosmetic and
Restorative Dentistry, Dr. Banks has completed the required coursework to become
certified to administer Oral Conscious Sedation. In addition, he has completed
the
Advanced ACLS Training Program. Dr. Banks is also Invisalign certified and
Lumineers certified.
Dr. Banks is married to Lynn and has two daughters, Micah and Katie, all of
whom work in the office. He also has one granddaughter, Sophia. Outside of the
office,
he enjoys teaching martial arts and is a Second Degree Black Belt in Hapmudo. He
enjoys reading, golf, coin collecting, and traveling with his family. He can
often be
found entertaining people with a few magic tricks, particularly children. The
art of
cooking is perhaps his favorite pastime and according to his family, has
developed this
hobby to a high level of expertise.
